Comparable to its antecedent, the forthcoming phone will include a 'dApp store' for cryptocurrency applications, custom Android software, and an integrated cryptocurrency wallet. Nevertheless, it will be offered at a reduced cost and utilizing alternative hardware.

A year after its initial release, the Saga smartphone was priced at $1000; however, as a result of sluggish sales, the price was subsequently reduced. The introduction of the Solana Mobile phone may assist in mitigating the substantial secondary market demand for the constrained supply of current Saga smartphones. eBay recently listed a factory-sealed Saga device for $3,200, which is five times the price it was five weeks ago.

It was initially difficult for the Saga smartphone to find a sizable enough market to justify its existence, given that its primary objective was to develop a mobile-centric platform for cryptocurrency traders and NFT collectors. Nevertheless, the circumstances underwent a transformation when cryptocurrency traders learned that the phone was accompanied by a quantity of BONK tokens that exceeded its purchase price. A week later, all copies of the Saga were sold out.

Saga phones have continued to pay dividends to their owners over the past month, as the 15,000 phones in circulation have been airdropped valuable tokens and NFTs by various initiatives.
